About Angel Spirit....

Thru the heritage our parents, Roy and Vera Parker who instilled the love of God, and music in
our lives. We deem it a great privilege to have the opportunity to convey what is in our hearts
to you thru the spirit of the Lord and song.
All the members of Angel Spirit are just sinners saved by the grace of God of whom we serve.
We trust that we will be afforded the blessings of our Heavenly Father has promised to all
those that believe in Him.
We felt it our duty to try to reach as many souls as possible and share in the daily blessings
that God gives us. We look around us to see the situation of this world today, and pray for
God's mercy. So until that day of redemption comes it is our desire to continue in his service
and sing for Him and You.
May God Richly Bless Each and Everyone
Love In Christ:

Angel Spirit

Diane Green

I am Diane Green and was Born and raised in Jasper, Ga. I was saved when I was 10 years old in an old -fashioned country Baptist church (Price Creek Baptist Church).
I later became a member at another church where the rest of the family attended.. and I have sang all my life.
When I was 3 -4 years old and my Dad would be leading a song while my mother was playing the piano, and I would be found standing on the piano bench singing with them.
I am the youngest child in the Parker Family.  I actually started singing with a group called the Happy Harmony Quartet in 1969.  There were three members of that group all 15 years old. Mike Holcomb, Bobby Hales and myself, we all left that group, and within a very short time they formed the group The Deliverance Quartet. along with Diane's sister Mildred Sewell. They sang together until the day that Mike left to sing with the Inspirations Quartet of Bryson City, NC. Bobby decided to leave and get married. Diane and Mildred wanted to continue singing.  The Lord then led Jeanette Cagle WeHunt ,Danny Davis, and Milton Fountain to them
and Deliverance continued until 1974.
In 1976 I met the love of my life Jack Green and we have just celebrated their 32nd anniversary. We have one nineteen year old son - Daniel..and I have always called him "My special gift from God".  We are all members of Sharptop Baptist Church.
I feel like God has granted me a very precious gift with giving me the privilege of singing again, but to be able to sing with my family is so special to me.  I pray that it is pleasing to the Lord and that you all enjoy listening to us sing.

Just singing from the Heart.

Mildred Sewell

I am Mildred Sewell, oldest of "Angel Spirit" and the oldest child in my family.  Born to Roy and Vera Hales Parker on December 7,1945, I have lived in Jasper my entire life and actually within a mile of the old log cabin I lived in until I was 10 years old.
Gospel music has always been a part of our lives although I suspect my father didn't always look at gospel music very seriously until he met my mother.  She,  her dad, brother and sister were all very musically talented.
I can remember standing next to my mother in church as a little girl as she played the old pump organ and singing "Mansion Over The Hilltop", "Jesus Loves Me" and "I've been Waiting".  This was the old, old church of Sharptop Baptist.
About 40 years ago my sister and I sang with a group known as "Deliverance" for a good many years.  By then I was a single parent with children to raise, so the group had to take a back seat.
Ironically, one of those children now sings with me and my sister Diane as "Angel Spirit".  Even better than that her twin daughters, (my beautiful grand-daughters) are singing along with us on our new upcoming CD called "Keeping Family Traditions".  My grand-daughters are a big reason for the name of the CD.
My true hearts desire is that through our Lord, he might use me to be a blessing to people I meet along this journey of life.

Until we meet again, May God Bless.

Selina Fields

Hi,
My name is Selina Fields.  I am a life long native of Jasper, GA.  Being born into a Christian, God fearing family is one of the things I am most thankful for today.  It has given me the basis for raising my 3 wonderful children.  My son Ethan has always been a very mature, level headed young man that I am very proud of.  He takes his passion for the Church and the lost world very serious.  I am proud that his light shines so bright.  My twin daughters, Ellie and Emily are a true gift from God.  Being born prematurely, I realized from day one that their life was truly in God's hands. They juggle a busy schedule of academics, sports, and at the top of their priority list is their commitment to God.  Each of them have a personal testimony and relationship with God that only they can put into words.  For that I am blessed.
As a young girl, my Mother and Diane sang in the Deliverance Quartet.  They travelled so many miles singing songs of praise.  It was at one of those good ole singings that God spoke to me and let me know that I was lost and undone.  I erected myself an alter right there, where I was saved by His Grace.
It is my desire that through our venture, we can sing with heart felt feeling that will touch someone's life and bring them comfort in some way.
Thanks to all those who support us on our journey.

I ask that you pray for us, that all the Glory and Praise be to the All Mighty God.
